I was reading the classifieds earlier, did anyone see that bit about the trial participants? They're running trials for phobias and they list "illness" and "radiation" as phobias. I guess I could see the illness one, like if it got ridic, people washing their hands all the time and stuff. But how can someone have a phobia of RADIATION? I mean, depending on the level of radiation, that's a legitimate fear, it's like having a phobia of being murdered or something. Or, I guess I answered my own question, cos radiation is pretty much all around and if you're afraid of that, then I reckon it'd be pretty debilitating.
What changes a fear into a phobia anyway?
